Description
A 19 Year Old Bowmore that piques your curiosity, combining the confident flavours of our expressive style with a dramatically different finish offered by the unique terroir of Burgundy. After maturation in American Oak ex-Bourbon casks, it’s finished in Pinot Noir casks sourced by our master whisky maker from the Burgundy region, where growers and winemakers have mastered the art of taming this most challenging grape variety. The results are spectacular to the taste: the light, low-tannin and medium-bodied Pinot Noir leaves a lasting effect on the barrel, adding a bright top note of berries and plums to crisp green apples and a soft butteriness.
