Description
This Amarone cru, with its intense and compact ruby red colour, opens boldly, with broad aromas of toasted coffee and tobacco. The palate is striking for its imposing structure. The tannins are well-defined but not aggressive, accompanied by fresh, vivacious acidity that lengthens and streamlines the mouthfeel.
Pair with braised meat and game, especially quail and partridge, stewed venison, roast lamb, suckling pig with wild herbs, pigeon and matured cheeses. Perfect to spicy and sweet-sour dishes, above all Peking duck. In Valpolicella, it is served with boiled meats.
Tasting Notes: Particularly intense and compact ruby red in colour, this Amarone opens on the nose with a dominant, broad and toasted scent of coffee and tobacco. On the palate, it impresses with its imposing structure. The tannins are centre stage but not aggressive on the palate, accompanied by a fresh and vital acidity that lengthens and streamlines the mouthfeel.
